Use standard WordPress categories?

    Eazyest Gallery is using pages and page hierarchy for subfolders, not categories. eg. Main folder is the parent page, and subfolders are children of the page …

    OK but what would be the best way to use main categories/parents on the main page, and fold them out after clicking a certain category/parent?
    I tried SB Child List plugin and Hierarchical Pages Widget, but both of them dont work.
