• In the installed plugins section of the dashboard I accidentally deactivated the “Better WordPress Security” plugin. I am now not able able to access the WordPress dashboard or the visit the site. I can however access the ftp root and change permissions and alter files if needed.

I would appreciate a solution to this problem as at the moment my site is dead.

    My website:

    Error Message:
The website encountered an error while retrieving http://bitcoininnovators.com/. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.
    Error code: 500

My site is still down, I have tried renaming the .htacess and also removing the better wp security code from the config.php. I still have no access to the site/dashboard. :/

I will just start my website from scratch.

Hello owenprescott did you try to delete the Better WP Security folder? Or simply rename the folder should do the trick.

    Kind regards
