   Hi,

   I''m adding Feedburner and FeedSmith. My host doesn't allow a .htaccess file, so I was going to use the Hack suggested in the codex.

   Then I follow a link which takes me to FeedSmith page on FeedBurner and it says something about now that FeedBurner owns FeedSmith, it works in every permalinks configuration (I use index.php in mine).

   So, now I'm confused. Do I still need the hack or not.

   Thanks.

   FeedSmith needs no .htaccess modifications that I know of. I just activated it and put in the needed settings. Should work with any given configuration of permalinks.
