    Recently updated a clients site with a new theme, following that we started getting lots of errors coming up on Google Webmaster Tools account for 404s for pages listed as domain.com/post-name/feed

    The theme creators say it is nothing to do with the theme, I tried a plugin to prevent the feed but that interfered with another vital plugin and actually created more errors.

    What is causing this and how do I stop it?

    They do have comments open but don’t want any RSS feeds active

    So where in the core files does it put the feed URL in the header, think this is what I need to get rid of?
