I tried to deactivate and then reactivate……..excluded tags and categories…..not sure what the issue is.
I am seeing the same error for my Google News sitemap.
BWP Google XML Sitemaps Error: post_google_news.xml does not have any item. You can fix this easily by excluding any post types / terms you do not use in Sitemap Generator tab within your admin area. If you still see this error, consider checking the module that generates this sitemap (post_google_news.php).
I have at least five submissions a week, but nothing really on the weekends. Does this have something to do with frequency or something like that? Is there any way to prevent this error if it does?
I love the plugin but if this is going to keep happening, I’ll have to figure something else out. Thanks.
You need to have news posts every 48 hours, that’s Google’s rule I believe.
