Spam shows up on public calendar

    hello,

    First off this plugin is really one of the best for WordPress, thank you for time and effort you have put into it.

    We have been getting a lot of “spam invitations” in our calendar list. Each time the calendar updates they will appear on our website. We have followed all the steps to prevent this via settings within Google. Unfortunately we are still seeing them. When we go to erase them from the calendar in Google they are not visible until we make them private.

    We have to set the calendar to have public access because of event information that our members need to reference.

    Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

    Hello TonyD,

    Do you have the “Automatically add invitations to my calendar” option enabled in Google Calendar? It sounds like setting it to “No” should prevent the invitations showing up.
