   This is the message I get when I try to upload a photo: Unable to create directory /var/www/vhosts/vieriberretti.com/httpdocs/wp-content/uploads/2008/01. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

   I am not sure how to check if the parent directory is writable by the server. Can you help?

   CHMOD uploads directory to 777.
