Supporting mailto: links properly?

    This plugin works really well! One thing I have not gotten to work, and I think it may be a bug is using mailto in the redirect URL.

    If I use

    mailto:myemail@domain.com

    an email gets opened properly but the @ gets removed. Spaces are also removed (which is a good thing!)

    I’ve tried the HTML escape character &64; but to no avail.

    Is this a bug? It would be nice for a proper email was passed to the redirect and let the browser handler launch the email program whatever it may be.
