• I have just downloaded the latest version of WP for a new website, i have had untold issues with 3 templates already, and now i have found another template that is ace for this style website, its got issues too, but only one.

Im used theme Academica by WPZoom who do not give support for a free download, and there doc’s are a bit patchy.

I am wanting the front (home page) to be static, and so i have put this in on the WPZoom Theme Options. But if i set the blog as the post page, all i get is the home page showing up as a blog post, and not the test post i have put in to the blog!

If i set the home page to “your last post” then it shows as the home page intended on the “home” menu bar, BUT if clicking on the logo, it shows it as a blog post… But at least the real “Blog” page shows the “test blog post”

    Can anyone help?
Due to having two options for page setting, one on the WPZoom Theme Options and the other on “Appearance – Customize”

I just cant get it to work, or get my head around why its being a bugger!

    Any help much appreciated

  • I’m sorry but as you are using a non-WPORG theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s developers – paid or otherwise. We only support themes downloaded from wordpress.org here.

Why not try a theme from http://wordpress.org/themes/ instead?

Hi, thanks for that, but i downloaded this believe it IS a .org theme… where does it say that it is a .com only? or how do you know that it is?

You are not using a theme from wordpress.org. These support forums are meant for the core application, themes and plugins that are distributed on wordpress.org. We do not support themes downloaded from elsewhere.

Okay, Shame though as i have seen others ask and get answers for this very provider. But okay.
