the plugin doesn’t recognize tags from the RSS feed, so it can’t anything about this.
well, the entire post is a duplicate – no way to extract duplicate posts that might get pulled from different feeds? possible wishlist?

if the title is the same and the permalink is the same, then (assuming you’re using the feed to post), the new items will not come in. If you are using the shortcode (at least now, not with the beta version), then if the feed owner wants to put in another version of the item (with the same title), there is nothing the plugin can do about this.
You can try the beta version of the plugin that will give more control over this

but to use this and preserve your settings you need to comment out the uninstall file.
Title & permalink are the same, but I’m currently using the shortcode (haven’t decided yet whether I want to do feed to post, but it’s a distinct possibility).
Any estimate on how long until the current BETA is released?

I would give it a try since it’s not clear how long it’s going to be before the beta is launched…in this version, you should not get duplicates since with the shortcode it will check both title and permalink.
