Shipping nightmares

    Here goes…

    I have an existing product (product X) that is setup to have shipping calculated by weight by USPS. This has been working fine.

    I’m adding a new product (product Y) which I want to have shipping set at a flat or fixed rate

    Nothing I have done will work!

    When I go to setting, shipping, enter all 0 amounts under the flat rate regions and then set the flat rate for product Y that’s all fine and dandy.

    My problem is that now $0.00 shipping options are available for all products X along with the the original shipping amount.
    IE: flat rate: $0.00, First Class: $0.46. This gives the option for customers not to pay shipping!

    How do I fix this?
