  • Hi all,

Same Problem as above using Flexslider…
after update this morning I am getting this error

Uncaught TypeError: Object [object Object] has no method ‘colorbox’

Same issue as Niketh25, all videos in my blog posts have disappeared since updating to version 2.6.

Tested in Firefox 22, Chrome 28, and Internet Explorer 10 under Windows 7.

Should be fixed in 2.6.1 thanks for the reports.

    Hi Nico,

Sorry about the browser version and Operative system…
I have to go live with the website in which I am using your plugin
    for Wednesday…

Do you think you can release the fix shortly?

    Thanks for your work

It is already out. Not sure why it’s not updating some sites, my demosite was not updating as well. I changed the version in the plugin editor manually to make it update. WordPress maybe checks only every 24 hours or so if there already were a update recently or they push updates out 1by1.

Go to Plugins -> Editor -> Advanced Responsive Video Embedder -> advancedresponsivevideoembedder.php and change the line that says

    * Version: 2.6.0 to * Version: 2.5.0 that worked for me to force the update showing up.

But honestly this should happen automatically soon, sometimes you have to click a but around in the admin of wordpress to make it show up the updates.

Or just grad it from here and upload it manually.

    // edit
Just saw in the other thread that you already got it, so all you needed is a little patience, I had the plugin already updated here and then posted the message that its fixed in 2.6.1 😉

Thank you for your quick response, appreciate it Nico. Will be testing out the new version this afternoon.

Hi Nico – I’ve posted on another thread – but thought I’d post here. Vimeo videos are not working. The YouTube ones are working however. I thought that you might want to look into that. Most of my videos are in Vimeo. I’m working on a local WordPress installation and am using Chrome. (Not that it should matter.) I’m using the SimpleGrid theme.

There is a space for the Vimeo videos, but no videos show up. I tried to use the iFrame path that Vimeo gives for embeds and received an error message that says “no id” from your software.

This is what the short-code read.
    [vimeo id=”3532881″ mode=”normal” align=”left”]

Everything is working for me now Nico thank you very much. And apologies for not providing more detail, I will next time.

P.s. for anyone else still having a problem youtube embeds, deactivate jetpack shortcodes, worked for me.

@ carlenelikesyou What other thread? I makes actually no sense at all to post here since I marked this as resolved and as other are reported their issue is, wich is a different one then yours it seems so you should open a new thread.

All I can tell you is that that shortcode is working fine for me
    look at http://nextgenthemes.com/test-vimeo-shortcode/

The align=”left” makes no sense if you not set any maxwidth since then the video will the fill out the area anyway so the plugin will ignore that. If you set a maxwith like I did to show you its aligned left.

RU sure you are not running any other shortcode plugins like jetback?
