    Hello,

Thanks for the opportunity to seek assistance. The problem I’m experiencing appears to be multi-layered, and I hope I am posting in the correct thread.

Yesterday I updated to 3.6 and got the following error:

blockUI requires jQuery v1.2.3 or later! You are using v1.10.2

I visited the forum, found this exact topic under plugins/hacks, disabled my plug ins one at a time as suggested and still had the problem, so I started updating my plugins (this was all before someone suggested installing the JQuery Updater plugin approx 45 minutes ago)

    My plugins include:

    Jetpack –> updated, no change
NextGEN Gallery –> deactivated, no change
WooCommerce Canada Post –> updated, theme rendered incompatible
    WooCommerce

I updated my theme (Maya from ThemeForest, not a WooTheme) as I had done in the past, but was unexpectedly locked out of the wordpress administrative interface.

When I type: http://shop.justthegoods.net/wp-admin/, I get the following fatal error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_woocommerce_active() in /nfs/c02/h06/mnt/30953/domains/shop.justthegoods.net/html/wp-content/themes/maya/inc/yith_wishlist/init.php on line 36

I have tried disabling my all of my plugins via FTP (changing the correct plugins folder to “plugins.hold”) and that did nothing. I also tried to disable my active_plugins via phpMyAdmin by editing the options_value to a:0:{}. That also did nothing.

I feel that if I can at least get back into the administrative interface and reset the theme to twentytwelve that I will be able to troubleshoot. I just have no idea how to get back to that point.

I’ve backed up everything via FTP and phpMyAdmin. Do I have any options other than deleting everything and reinstalling wordpress as a 1 click application?

I have already sought assistance from my host, media temple (I thought they would be able to restore my system to before I attempted to update wordpress), and they say talk to wordpress developers.

I hope you can help. Thank you.

  • You can do that by renaming the maya theme folder – using FTP access to your site:

    wp-content
        themes
           mayaHOLD
