   For reasons a little long to detail here, I had to "save" a blog (before destruction) by making a full RSS dump of comments and posts (separate, of course).

   I have two RSS files, one for posts (110 posts) and one with all the comments (1400+). Importing the posts is easy, as WP provides an RSS importer.

   Now, the comments. I'm looking for a plugin, hack or script that could help me with that, either by importing the comments directly into the WP install, or by converting them into WXR (maybe with the posts RSS file too?).

   Any pointers or ideas most welcome. I'm kinda stuck.

   Out of curiosity, did you ever find a solution for this?
