Support » Plugin: WordPress Gallery Plugin - NextGEN Gallery » Help with basic gallery setup

  • Hey,

I am a newbie on WP. I need to implement a gallery for my website and its pretty urgent. So I would really appreciate all the help I can get.

I am using the nggallery and I have a page with thumbnails as shows on –
    nggallery website

    1. As shown, on clicking the thumbnails, I would like them to open in a full screen black window with the loading icon and carousel as happens in the above link, rather than the default lightbox of nggallery, which has no carousel and its shape keeps changing per the image size

    2. I also need the comments option that you get on every image on the bottom left after opening it, and on clicking, the comments open up to the right of the image.

Can somebody please help me out with this? I would really appreciate any help.

    Thanks!

  • Hi there!

That lightbox is actually the Pro Lightbox from NextGEN Pro:

    Thanks for your reply Mike!

My website is not that important yet to buy a $39 licence. Are there any free substitutes to better lightboxes or adding comments to the images?

    Appreciate your help.

    Thanks!
    Sid
