Support » Fixing WordPress » Change colour of code text

  • Hi All,

I am wanting to distinguish between code and live site text within the admin portal of my WordPress site.

    For example –

    <span>Homes built to last…</span><img alt=”picture” src=”./images/top_img_2.jpg” width=”298″ height=”193″ />

I would like “Homes built to last…” to be displayed in a different colour to the code surrounding it.

the reason for this is that the client who owns this site wants to be able to edit the text them selves but are afraid of messing with code and/or not finding the text they are after.

Is it possible to change the colour of the text within the editor or indeed another way to achieve a similar result? I cannot have the colour change effect the live site, this is for the editor only.

    Thanks.

Could really do with knowing if this is possible and if not, a way that I can distinguish between code and text.

    Thanks
