  • I looked at the yandex leaflet plugin but decided not to integrated this so far as no one has asked for it before 😉 I am not quite sure, if yandex maps are used that often (please correct me if I am wrong). Adding new features to my plugin also often means increased download time for my javascripts & so far I thought I better not add the Yandex plugin…

    Ok, thanks for your answer.

I can easily say, that in Russia yandex.maps is used very frequently (as in many cases it’s much more precisely than Google or OSM). Many times i’ve seen that programmers lacked a solutions that allows to use yandex in conjunction with G-maps or OSM base layer.

But i understand your reason, of course 🙂 Can additional base layer option be added as add-on, for example? It would be very flexible and convenient.

    thx for the info!

I put a lot of effort into enqueuing js properly (and from 1 file only) to keep the number of http-requests low.

Perhaps I should think about a module like approach, as more and more features will be added and if not all of them are used, an additional http-request would not matter…

Anyway – this will take some time & can´t tell you exactly when this will be available, so please be patient…
