Decided to not use

After activating the plugin, it affected the layout of the plugins page, which means that it is doing something wrong. I can’t trust this plugin to be coded properly since it is affecting administration areas outside of the plugin options.

I see that it is an initial release, so perhaps the plugin developer will fix this issue.

I did not do a code review, so I can not attest to the quality of coding and I did not use the plugin as it does not allow adding WordPress pages as content to slide like the description implied.
