• I’m running a fantasy racing league through my website and I could use a suggestion for a form. I’m currently using cform, and while it’s fulfilling my needs for the basic information, I’d like to get a little more.

Scroll to the bottom to see the layout:

Here’s what I need. I need for the form to send the same information to me as it does to the submitter. Instead of telling the user that their entry has been received, I’d like it to tell them what their entry is.

Also, when I get the entry, it is addressed from the address I have listed for the contest, but I would like it to be from the user’s email address (for selfish reasons, that will make it easier to add to the address book).

I don’t know code, I can dabble a bit in html, but that’s about it. That’s why I use wordpress and plugins. If I’m missing something within cform, great! Help me see what I’m missing. If there’s a better form I can use, awesome! Hook me up.

    Thanks in advance.

  • I’m not familiar with cform… but I would suggest checking out Contact Form 7, it has the ability to create custom fields, and to send two emails with different content and inject fields from the form into the emails. It does use a bit of html, but it’s super basic, <p> and
… you can of course use additional html, but should be able to get accomplished what your needing with the basics.
