upgrading from 2.1.2?

Hi! First of all, it is recommended that you backup your blog’s content, i.e., your database (although, on one occasion, I have upgraded without doing this, and all went fine). To learn more about the various ways to do this, see here. One of the options, as you will see, include a plugin you can download and use for this purpose (the plugin didn’t work in my case, so I ended up backing up the database using phpMyAdmin at my Web Host’s Control Panel).
