Custom Fields / Groups for Pages/Posts already live?

I’ve looked at support here, docs and the support at the site. But I don’t see any definitive answers to IF I can use ACF for pages / posts that are already created?

I have posts, custom post_types and pages already live.. is it possible for ACF to add custom fields and field groups to those?
