ALT missing from widget images

Hi,

when running my wordpress site through SEO checkers, it is reporting alt tags missing for imges shown in the Jetpack widgets on my site, mainly for the top-posts and gravatar-profile widgets.

I have added them manually but whenever there is a new update it overwrites the changes.

Please could you add them to your code so they are always present, even if it is blank ones like alt=” ?
