PHP Deprecated function notice stopping successful backup

    I am receiving this error in the Working Log while trying to backup to directory. It is stopping a full backup from successfully completely:

    [25-Jul-2013 11:05:59] STRICT NOTICE: is_a(): Deprecated. Please use the instanceof operator

    It appears that the class-destination-email.php file is using this function. I tried unchecking the “email me issues” box, but the error is still happening.

    I am able to do a separate database and file backup, but my site is very small and I would prefer to do it at once. this backup used to run in 10 seconds!!
