   Newbie here...

   How can I track the traffic to my blog on a given day, month or after a certain post I make?

   Go to statcounter.com and sign up. The best stats for free. You install a thing at the bottom of you blog in the "footer.php" files. Check out mine. http://www.teenfellowship4christ.com go to the bottom and you will see it at the footer.

   Google Analytics is also a good way to go. You sign up for an account, and then you can just install a plugin that does all the work of inserting the tracking code for you.
