Updating Galleries but no Changes on Site Pages

    I’m trying to update the photo galleries on my site but am having some issues. One gallery is not recognizing the changes I’ve made. That is, the new gallery of photos is saved on the admin side but when you look at the actual site the photos haven’t changed. In another, I did the same thing but this time it shows every photo I’ve recently uploaded along with the original photos.

    All I’ve tried to do is click “add media” to upload the photos to the library. On the pages I’ve hit either “edit gallery” or “add to gallery” to add new photos, remove some old ones, and rearrange what’s left then hit “update” but that doesn’t seem to work.

    My site uses the Sidewinder WordPress Theme by Graph Paper Press.

    Do you have caching on your site? Have you also cleared your browser cache?

    I don’t know if I have caching and I haven’t cleared my browser cache. How do I do those? Not the most tech savy guy, sorry.

    I’m having the same issue and I have cleared cache, but to no avail. I’m going to try other browsers now and check it out and the system ‘rested’ overnight so let’s see what’s up…

    But to clear your cache, in most browsers there’s either a drop-down choice in the tabs across the toolbar of the browser, or in your preferences. On my mac, using Safari, I chose – under develop – to empty caches. (But if you don’t see develop in the toolbar you might have to activate that in preferences…
