    Hi there,
I installed the wp-ecommerce plugin and then when I click the paypal checkout button it either goes to the homepage of my website or if the member is already logged in and trying to register again by logging out first then it goes to the paypal website with an error message “The link you have used to enter the PayPal system is invalid. Please review the link and try again.”.

So, i removed the wp-ecommerce plugin and also removed the paid membership pro plugin also dropped the created tables for paid-membership-pro before re installing it again but the problem is persisting !!!

Can you support me with this?

    Thank You
    Asim

I am sorry. I should have mentioned that when I say “the paypal checkout button” I meant from the set up of Paid memebership pro and and not wp-ecommerce.

Make sure you upgrade PMPro to the latest version. You shouldn’t be redirected to the homepage anymore.

Then make sure you upgrade to the latest version coming out this week, which may fix additional related issues to this.

And post a follow up if you are still seeing the error.

    Hello Jason,
I had already upgrades to the latest version 1.7.0.4.
Next I decided to analyze the problem by deactivating the plugin for login “Sideways8 Custom Login and Registration”.And, now it is going to the paypal page with the error message that “The link you have used to enter the PayPal system is invalid. Please review the link and try again.”.Here is the
    link

I am sure the plugin for login was compatible before.

    Thank You for your support

    Asim,

Can you try disabling any other plugins that maybe conflicting, perhaps on a staging site, and let us know if the issue persists.

    Thanks

    Hello Lisa,

I deactivated all the plugins except “Paid Memberships Pro” and I am still getting the same error message from Paypal !!!

    thank you

    Hi Asim,

OK, then we know it is not a plugin conflict.

We have an update coming that will have some changes to PayPal and the IPN handler which may help you.

After that, Jason can help you through out paid support options:

    Hi Asim,

Have you tried the latest version (1.7.1) to see if this issue is resolved?

I am going to mark this as resolved. Please reply back if this issue is not resolved in 1.7.1.
