• I would like the output of a shell script, which I could write to a text file, to be piped into a command-line application that would post the text file to a WordPress.com blog (presumably via the XML-RPC interface), preferably as a draft.

    Ideally, said command would also work for an independent WordPress blog not situated on WordPress.com.

    I understand that there are a few out there, but the existing documentation appears quite old, may links are dead, and I’m not sure which ones have survived into the present-day and compatibility with the latest versions of WordPress.

    If it matters, the command line involved would be Mac OS X’s terminal — the tcsh shell run inside the “Darwin” brand of Unix.
