Hi all
I use the Sideblog 4.4 Plugin on my Site and Show just some excerpts in the Sidebar.
I knew that there are some Options for excerpts within this Plugin, but just to cut Posts after xx Words.
Is there another way to edit those excerpts for the Sideblog, maybe by using the <-more-> Tag or the Excerpt-Manager-Plugin?
Thats just i dont wanna say that every excerpt has to cut after 10 words, i wanna change the excerpt-lengh for every post if its possible.

As far as I know this can only be done with the more tag, but I didn't like it too much, because it leaves every coding in tact (images, parts of tables, etc.). I haven't found plugins that allow you to make excerpts with different lengths. (I would like the first excerpt to be 100 words and the rest 50 or so...)

Thank you for your answer, but for me the excerpts by the more tag doesnt work in Sideblog.
Any Ideas?

@rhodesign can you get the "excerpts" to work at all?
