• Hi,

I’m using a template that is widget enabled…

This is my first time trying to use the widgets for the sidebar…

No problem dragging them to the sidebar but I can’t remove them. They won’t drag back to the “widget available” space… is there a trick to this?

    Thanks

  • Drag and drop, then Save Changes. Are you doing the Save Changes step?

What happens if you use the WordPress Default 1.6 theme.

The problem is when I drag them back down to the widget space, they pop back up to the side bar. They won’t stay in the available widget space.

I switch to the default theme… same problem.

I can’t get them off the sidebar space. Once I drag the widget to the sidebar space, save changes, it’s there… and I can’t remove it. I can move them around but I can’t remove them from them from the sidebar.

I just encountered this problem, and found (through a suggestion on another string) that opening it in a different browser seems to work. I had been using firefox and seamonkey, but it seems to work in IE.

In addition, I tried the default theme as well, and it didn’t work for me either.

    Hope that helps.
