Also, If I switch up to “small” thumbs, which are too large, then the thumbs show up…
Hey @roger,
Can you link me to your site? Its a CSS issue, this will help me diagnose. Widget did not get a lot of love with previous updates and something might not have transitioned over well.

It’s in the footer that I’m trying to use it currently.
it looks like something is not coming through the php file. the background url doesn’t seem to be populating.
I replaced this on line 145:
$html .= '<div class="image size-'. self::$options['size'] .'" style="background-image: url(' . self::_clean_url($img['images'][self::$options['size']]['source']) . ')"> </div>';
with
$html .= '<div class="image size-'. self::$options['size'] .'" style="background-image: url('. self::_clean_url($img['source']) . ')"> </div>';
This is from the line above with the href is. I doubt this is ideal as it’s pulling a large image to create a tiny thumbnail, but it’s working for now.
Hey thanks, I’ve been busy with work projects and I’ll dedicate some time this weekend to fix this
If you’d like, download the Development Version of the plugin and give it a whirl for me – http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/facebook-albums.zip – it fixes thumbnail resolutions by bumping to the next largest size for the thumbnail URL.
That way users don’t have to download the full image.
I was having this same issue and the development version seems to have partially fixed it for me. You can see what the site is doing here: Recording Studio
@thinsafetypin
Thanks for the link! I feel the issue has to do with odd sized images that do not match the thumbnail size. Can you provide the link to your album URL so I can debug what URLs are being returned?
I have to build in a validator to ensure there is a thumbnail source URL, but need to see *how* to do so
Sure, no problem! Facebook Album
Hey @thinsafetypin could you try out the dev version of the plugin http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/facebook-albums.zip and see if this resolves the issue?
Basically if a picture smaller it only makes so many thumbnails, so I had to create a function to cycle through thumbnail sizes just in case the default is missing.

Awesome – I should have an official release next week with this rolled in.
