I've been trying to use WordPress for many of my client sites, but I have been asked for something which I'm hoping is already available as a plugin: Document Manager (PDFs) which can be organized in categories and also be searchable by author, publication date, article text. The only other way to do it would be make a post for each one and attach a file. They have about 3000 documents.

Posted 1 year ago #Sorry, I've not seen any serious document management tools integrated into WordPress, either as plugins or a custom setup.

Posted 1 year ago #A WordPress integrated document mananagement tool is also something I would welcome seeing. I think this would increase WordPress usage in corporate environments.
