   I just upgraded to 1.5.1.3 and my comments and permalinks now give a 404 error. I followed the directions (delete, upload, run update.php script).

   Take a look at http://www.voxnoxi.com to see what I mean. I'm totally stumped, and more than a little disappointed.

   Any help would be very greatly appreciated.

   Your comments are stored in the database, so they should all still be there.

   Try rebuilding your permalinks: Options -> Permalinks -> Save.

   If you deleted your .htaccess file, you will need to creat a new one. Following skippy's advice above should work, but you may have to create it manually the first time. See the troubleshooting section of the Using Permalinks Codex article.

   Thanks. I searched for this topic under "permalinks broken" and finally under "1.5.1.3 404" is how I found it.

   redoing Options > Permalinks > Update (on the new upgraded WP) solved my 404 error.
