    Hi all,

I’ve just updated a plugin (pie register). Once updated the site crashed and now I am unable to access the admin part of the site and even access the website itself. I have contacted my web hosting company to see if this is a problem on their behalf in which I am waiting for a reply. Any advise would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Ryan

  • Deactivate all plugins via FTP/ your hosting cPanel by adding -old and see if you can login.

If you can’t get in at all and the above doesn’t work, ask your ISP (internet service provider) to do a site and database restore from before your update. They normally hold back ups for around 3 days. Hopefully this will help. It may take up to 24 hours to complete.

Thanks for your help guys. I resolved this problem buy deleting the plugin Pie Register as this seemed to be causing the problem since i updated. I did this by going to my web host cPanel, going into the FTP files finding the plugin and right click then delete. As soon as i had done that my website was up and running again 🙂

    Thank you

Glad to know that the problem is resolved! 🙂
