• I have a retail website(Caregiver-Aid.Com)with products and blogs and would like to produce a mobile site.
I’m looking for some suggestions as to what plugin or service to use that would give me some options as to what to leave in and/or leave out, etc.
    Bluehost offers something called GoMobi.
Anybody have experience with GoMobi,… or perhaps other suggestions?

    Thanks, Greg

  • Use a theme that will show well on the various platforms and sizes.
They are frequently referred to as ‘responsive’ themes.

When creating your ‘regular’ / ‘responsive’ site, use relative values [like: %, em, rem] where ever you can for things like height, width, font-size, line-height, margins, padding etc. In this way the device defaults are the startingpoint for the scaling. Using fixed values makes scaling to a small screen difficult to predict.

I have a custom theme built for me by Kickstart Media. It is a responsive site however, I think I would like to streamline it somewhat to help gain a better user experience when viewed with phones and tablets.
I would probably remove the slider and maybe some blog photos. The main thing is simple navigation (true also for the full site) to locate and purchase products. Convenience.

    I’ve looked at GoMobi.
I’ve looked at Dudamobile. Right now I’m leaning toward Dudamobile. But I’m open to suggestions.

    Anyone?
