• Hi there,

To make this as easy to understand for people I will try to explain my situation in as much detail as possible.

My business partner and I built website for a living and a large proportion of those sites are built on WordPress which is great. We both work from home, either I go to his, he comes to mine or occasionally we both work separately at home (this is relevant trust me).

For some time now, probably a good 6 months (maybe more), when we are working together (at his or mine) and we both go on one of our WordPress sites (it can be the same site or two different sites), the load time for one of us completely slows down, taking about a minute or so to load any page. From doing as much testing as I can I have narrowed it down to just our WordPress sites (not very narrow I know). This happens whenever we are on the same public IP, so either both working at his or both working at mine. When we are working individually from home there is no problem whatsoever, the speed is fine.

It is really frustrating as we do use WordPress quite often as previously mentioned.

I spoke to my support guys at WebhostingUK and they couldn’t see any problems at all. We both use Macs and have tried using different browsers to see if that helps but it doesn’t. I have a feeling it could be to do with our internet settings at home but that is just a random feeling so is most likely bs.

If anyone has this problem or has had a similar problem in the past, your help would be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks in advance.

    Jack
