My site is reachable but it gives me a constant error when in the admin since I updated some plugins. This the error I get:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 122880 bytes) in /home2/voiceact/public_html/oop/wp-admin/custom-background.php on line 299

That last part keeps changing, so I’m not sure what to change, what do delete or etc.

  • I am getting a similar message. What does this mean?

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 122880 bytes) in /home/a2002238/public_html/wp-admin/includes/menu.php on line 126

I ended up emailing the company that hosts my site & they increased the memory size in that file for me. I guess depends on what type of plan you have whether this will cost you extra or not. I am on unlimited so it didn’t but I guess they pre-allocate a certain amount of memory & then only increase it as you need it.
