Editing the “Edit N Place” Plugin (ASAP!)

I have a question..
I’m using the Edit N Place plugin for a client, and he wants to be able to allow his authors to edit more than just the post body. We would like to add the custom fields used with each posts and their values to the plugin, but I am not very good with mysql and php other than wordpress essential stuff.

Any help would be appreciated about how to go about this.
