Suggestion: Focus points for media

This may be a bit difficult to implement, but I am not sure either way.

My suggestion is to add a bit of meta information to the individually uploaded images in the Media bin about where the “subject” of the image is located. This would be a simple X,Y coordinate within each individual image in the Media area.

If the “subject coordinate” is not defined, cropping works as usual.

If the coordinate IS defined, the cropping function would attempt to center on that coordinate and crop from there.

This could really help with responsive designs, and help prevent the cropping functions from cutting off parts of the image that may be relevant.
