2.3: .git file in new assets/colorbox directory causes GIT problems

    After updating backupwordpress to 2.3, I couldn’t add the changes to my git repository. It seems the colorbox directory, new to this version, contains a .git file that interferes with my local git.

    I can delete the .git file to remove this roadblock, but the file will reappear whenever I update backupwordpress.

    What’s a permanent solution? Thanks.
