Banned User Still Able to Make Attempts

    I have banned the samer user (ip address) five times, including starring out the last two stanzas (class C etc). I continue to get email alerts that this user has been locked out for too many attempts on my site, and return to the Ban Users Portal to double check that everything has copied and pasted perfectly.

    Am I missing a setting?

    Banned User feature is working correctly for me. But I ever saw some bots were using fake IPs, which cause Better WP Security detect incorect IPs.

    By checking visitors log (cPanel), you can find their ‘true’ IPs and ban them correctly.
