Comment notifications

    I have googled this problem but have found no solution. I have built many wordpress sites as a web designer, initially setting sites up with my email address and although the email address has been reset to clients email, I am still receiving comment notifications.

    Is there a fix for this yet?

    If comment notifications are enabled, the post author will receive an email when a new comment is left on a post they wrote. Comment notification emails are sent to the post author using the email address listed in Users -> Personal Settings in the dashboard.

    Sorry if you already knew that, and if that is not what wordpress is doing

    Ding! Got it. Thanks for that I should have caught on quicker. I actually read the above many times and now realise that when I set these sites up, my user name is the author and thats why I am getting the notifications.

    Bad news for me for sites all ready set up this way but at least from now on I will write their posts and pages using a staff member. 🙂
