   The theme I am creating is located here.

   I am aiming for three columns, with the left hand column having a background image in.

   This all works fine in firefox (2.0.0.11), but none of the images show up in internet explorer (I'm using 6)

   I've tried changing paths, changing the quotation marks and apostrophies surrounding the tags, and I've put another image in from the same folder in an image tag on the home page to test out the images.

   I've also validated my coding(strict xhtml 1.0 and css)

   Can anyone spot the problem? Thanks any help will be MORE than appreciated.

   It looks perfect if I add the image in as an image, but not as a background if that makes sense. Which leads me to belive my markup or styling is wrong - but I validated it so It can't be?

   try changing your URL to lowercase url

   it actually fixed it when I changed it from lower to uppercase!
