When Custom Permalinks are ON, remove Product does not work

    I just switched from default permalinks to custom
    WP
    …/%year%/%monthnum%/%postname%/

    WC
    …/courses/

    Now, when a product is added to the cart, on the cart page, the (x) at the far left to the product does not work. the site reloads with the same product(s).

    It does depend on the permalink structure.
    Any ideas?

    (I will not change back because of SEO, pretty URLs, direct links in blog posts etc)
