Show Meta Description in stead of excerpt

Hi,

I there a way to show the META – description from a post instead of the excerpt?

The thing is:

WordPress doesn’t coop with columns/shortcodes very well, so I get really weird excerpts
I’m using Yoast – plugin for SEO to put in META description.

Hope someone can help me…
