I am a new user of Smush.it and am trying to understand how to use it.

    Two questions:

    1. If I smush an image that has already been inserted in a post, do I then have to go re-insert it into the post so that it is using the smushed version?

    2. What if I am uploading the images to Amazon S3 Cloudfront? Will Smush.it be able to smush those images as well?

No, you shouldn’t have to do that.

No, the smush.it plugin is not compatible with CDNs or Amazon’s S3 servise. (it’s not a a fault, it’s just not doable due to the way that yahoo’s smush.it works!)
