I just added an ‘autoplay’ attribute to the shortcode that can either be set to 1 or 0. This change is contained in version 1.15.
However, as of now this only works with Vimeo and Soundcloud since the other platforms do not currently support autoplaying using oEmbed, and this is how WordPress embeds the videos. I’ll continue to look for updates on this, but unfortunately there is no solution with oEmbed right now.
If you find something on this, it would be nice if you let me know, either here on in the Github repository for the plugin.
