Maintenence mode plugin locks me out!

    It may not be compatible with 2.3.1. If you’re using this plug for theming, try this plug-in. It’s compatible with the newest version of WP.

    If it is of any help, I am currently using Maintenance Mode version 3.2 on two test installations of WordPress 2.3.1 without any admin access problems. You may want make sure your version of the plugin is current. Perhaps there may also be a conflict with another plugin that is in use.

    Update: I just confirmed that any of my user accounts with a level less than that of administrator can log in, but are redirected back to the maintenance splash page when clicking on “view site” in the dashboard. It sounds like you may simply have a user permission error.

    You may find this of interest as well if you have not seen it yet.
