You should be able to see the settings page for the Nivo slider by going to Settings> WP Nivo Slider (if thats the proper plugin).
Good luck and let me know if that works. If not, I’ll dig deeper for you.

The Nivo Slider plugin settings only allow the change of layout, fade type etc. Not to set what content is showing.
Any further help would be much appreciated.
any help would be great. This is still an issue
Looking at the code via Chrome, it seems that the text is actually the caption for the images
<div class=”nivo-caption” style=”opacity: 0.8;”><p style=”display: block;”>
‘Your team were communicative, logical and methodical in their approach to the installation and above all, they kept in mind that we are a live business with our own customers to serve.’
</br>

Julie Tucker – Director
</br> … </p></div>
Can’t be conclusive looking at it from this perspective, but have a look at the galleries you have in place and see if the captions match up.

thanks for taking the time to help. Where would I find the “Gallery” page? All i have is “media” – “library”
I’m not 100% familiar with Nivo, but here is a link to their forums, where I am sure you can get better answers…

AH, slight issue. Again I thank you for the help but I think you were looking at the wrong bit of the site, although I will need to edit that as well.
On this occasion I am looking at the bit which says this such as “Marketing on a Shoe String” and “Half Day Time management…”
