  • Hi and thanks for reading this.

Do I delete the SQL Tables completely from my hosting?

Then re-create an SQL Table for the new clean WP Back-Up using the same passwords and before – or – can I create an entirely new SQL Table with 100% new passwords and then simply put those new passwords in the config.php file?

Thanks! I appreciate all help with this!

I have a full back-up with all tables and content.

    Thanks

    Yes

The backup should create the tables for you.

Thanks – when you say “The backup should create the tables for you” – shouldnt I create the Database though? That was really my question.

So, from a fresh install, I create a SQL Database with the SAME passwords as before and then let the backup do the rest – is that correct?

    Thanks again…

Oh yes! You need to set a new database and corresponding user manually.
