Did you try “forgot password” on the login page? If that doesn’t work try one of these methods here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password
In this case it’s a little tricky I know the user name my client gave me but the user name of the primary admin account is unknown? How can I find out the user name if all I have is her email?
I think you’ll have to get access to the database – via the hosting company if no other way – this thread explains what to look for in the database:

hi there,
I tried moving my wp site into it’s own directory, by login into wp going to Settings, then General, and in the WP URL I ensured the url contain both the domain name/sub directory. But in the Site URL I removed the /sub directory and saved.
When I tested the url the text only came up, no images or anything. I can’t even log into wp now to change settings again?
